We’re
having another beautiful sunny day here in Palm Springs
Palm Springs is a jewel among desert cities that
has preserved its quaint village atmosphere and added many new attractions
as it continues to enjoy international appeal. Rich in history and
blessed with wonderful weather, the charming downtown with its lampposts,
benches, sculptures and tile-paved enclaves invites strolling among
the shops, galleries, and restaurants. The ever-growing Walk of
Stars on Palm Canyon Drive honors the city's pioneers benefactors,
and celebrities who have contributed to the growth and charisma
of the village.
PS Colony’s residents will enjoy this amazing
atmosphere and be able to soak in all of the events and attractions
that Palm Springs has to offer. Not a two-hour drive to the ocean,
but just five minutes down the road is Knott’s Soak City.
The huge water-park has wave pools and thrilling waterslides. Adjacent
to the water-park is the Uprising Outdoor Adventure Center, which
has a climbing wall the whole family can enjoy. The Indian Canyons,
which are located on Agua Caliente tribal land, are a definite must
see when living in the Palm Springs area. In addition, the Palm
Springs Aerial Tramway allows families to experience the breathtaking
journey up the sheer cliffs of Chino Canyon.
Involvement
& Education
Children of PS Colony will attend schools in
the Palm Springs Unified School District. The district is quite
large, having 3 high schools, 4 middle schools, and 14 elementary
schools. The schools are dedicated to taking responsibility for
student learning and promoting life-long education. Older students
can attend the College of the Desert, an accredited two-year college
whose mission it is to provide comprehensive, student-centered community
college education. The college aims to prepare students for transfer
programs that assure their access to upper-division education at
public and private universities.
Come for pleasure, Stay for Business
Palm Springs is considered one of the ten best
small markets for business in the country. The city is located in
the center of the fastest growing county in California (Riverside).
Palm Springs’ powerful combination of business amenities and
aggressive public/private partnerships makes the city an ideal location
for 21st century businesses.
This wonderful desert lifestyle is available
at PS Colony. Buying a home here means buying the entire atmosphere
of history, relaxation, recreation and opportunity.
